The Kornati archipelago consists 89 uninhabited islands, islets and reefs and is known for its cliffs.

The national park is located between the island Dugi otok and the island Zirje in the region Dalmatia. The main part of the park is occupied by the main island of Kornat, from which the archipelago bears its name.

The dreamlike island world is very popular by nature lovers, diving holidaymakers and boaters.
